Join us at Low Newton church for a roost count as part of the National Bat Monitoring Programme. This is a known Natterer’s roost and potentially also has Common Pipistrelles roosting within the building.
Please bring the following:
- Notepad and pen
- Headtorch or light so you can see your writing
- Camping chair or stool
- Your own refreshments
- Suitable clothing for the elements
We will provide bat detectors and night vision aids but you are welcome to bring any of your own as well.
Please meet for 9pm. The event will likely carry on past 11pm.
If the weather turns wet, windy or cold the event may be cancelled at short notice. Please keep an eye on the Facebook group for any notifications.
